Dr. Amjad Saqib, founder of the Brotherhood Foundation, a charity working in Pakistan, has been awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award, one of Asia's most prestigious awards, after which he has been praised by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In a message on Twitter, Imran Khan said that we are proud of the success of Dr. Amjad Saqib in his journey to build a welfare state on the model of the state of Medina.

However, this is not the first time that Prime Minister Imran Khan has been impressed by the work of Dr Amjad Saqib and the Brotherhood Foundation.

Last year, too, Prime Minister Imran Khan's attention was drawn to the success of the Brotherhood Foundation, and Dr. Amjad Saqib, after a personal meeting with the Prime Minister in his office, discussed the interest-free loans provided by the government for the construction of their homes. A sum of Rs 5 billion was allocated for it.

Amjad Saqib, a doctor by education and a government employee by profession, founded the fraternity in 2001 with a few friends.

The organization distributes interest-free money to the poor in the form of good loans, and has a variety of loans, including for building a house, for marrying children, for education, for mortgages, and for small loans. Loans are given.

In the early days of the institution, Dr. Amjad could only provide a loan of up to Rs. Looking for money to do.

Speaking to journalist Benazir Shah a few months ago, Dr Amjad had said, "Even in the early days, we did not intend to use this money as charity, but to give it as an interest-free loan."

An instance of this is the fraternally health competence, which gives medicines to the needy at economical rates, and gives free medical instruction and direction to those who cannot afford basic health care.

About his journey, he said that over time, more and more poverty alleviation projects have been added to this interest-free micro finance institution.

In addition, there is a fraternally school and college program for kids in the field of edification, while the fraternally eunuch sustain program provides financial support, education, health care and psychological help to more than 2,000 eunuchs within the country.

Dr. Sahib, a father of two, resigned from government service in year 2003 and determined to dedicate himself to the company at all the times.

Today, after twenty years, the organization has in excess of 826 work centers in 400 urban areas and towns the nation over, and has 7,000 representatives.

The fraternity has so far provided loans to about 3 million people. These loans are not only for construction houses but also for edification and also for men, women and eunuchs to start their own productions.

Dr Saqib says only 5 to 6 % of the aid he receives go to run the company's management, while the rest are used to raise the poor out of the swamp of scarcity.

If someone cannot repay the loan, our management team reminds him for returning the loan.

Dr. Amjad told that individuals who earn only thirty thousand rupees per month could not get a loan from a bank to build their house due to this income.

When our team presented this plan to Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, he was already looking for a better plan, so he immediately agreed to it and ordered the concerned government department to manage a system for its circulation.

The government funds received by the fraternity came under the Prime Minister's New Pakistan Housing Program, which aims to bring private housing within the reach of the lower middle and lower income classes.

According to the New Pakistan Housing Program website, Pakistan is currently facing a total shortage of more than 10 million houses, while the website also says that the housing business supplies mostly to the requirements of the middle and upper middle class communities.

Dr amjid Saqib told that people at the bottom of the triangle make up about twenty percent of the total population and live in more unlawful defrayal, encroachments and slums.

With government funding, the fraternity identified 11,000 people and provided them with loans ranging from four to five lac rupees. These were citizens who had their own two or three Marla personal plot but did not have the cash to build a home on it.

The organization also conducts a basic check before the loan is disbursed.

The government funds received by the organization have been received under the “Prime Minister's New Pakistan Housing Program”, that aims to carry private housing within the reach of the lower middle and lower income peoples.

Dr. Saqib said that for the distribution of loans, "we have convinced conditions, like the borrower is not a cheater, criminal and drug addict and he lives in the area."

He claims that in the sorority, consumers have 99% compensation rate and very infrequently evasion.

He told more about returning procedure of the loan that if someone can't repay the loan, we just remind him of his promise." Those who do not repay the loan are not taken to court.

Dr. Amjad told that like any trustworthy economic system, the philosophy behind the sorority is one of trust. We have tried to create this feeling in this society that people are honest, people trust each other and people are not liars.

He added more that we have desire to bring a positive face to the public. We have to learn to trust society. Why should I assume that people are not accountable or that they will swindle us?
