Islamabad (News Update); A train running between
Istanbul and Islamabad a decade later via Tehran has reached Ankara via Lahore,
Taftan and Zahedan.
The 17-day journey was completed in 13 days while other
trains are also en route to Turkey. According to the report, Pakistan Railways
Director (Operations) Imtiaz Ahmed told private TV that the freight train left
Islamabad on December 21 and reached Ankara (Turkey) on Monday evening. Salt

He said that before reaching the destination, the
goods in the train were transferred to other bogies by Iranian-Turkish rail
gauge system.
He said that the train consists of 8 wagons which
contain 150 tons of punk salt. Imtiaz Ahmed said that the second train arrived
at the port on December 28 containing 525 tons of soapstone.
The train has entered Iran and will before long arrive
at Zahedan where other conveyance related work will be finished. , Tehran,
Islamabad (ITI) representative Imtiaz Ahmed said that Pakistan Railways has
procured Rs. 800,000 from the main train and Rs. 22 Lac from the subsequent
train.

be used only as a road-providing country and all the equipment loaded from
Pakistan would be delivered to Turkey only. I was transferred to ITI train

Imtiaz Ahmed said that the third train will likewise
